The seven-year-old daughter has been attending "circus class", and we took the other two kids to see their sister in action. After seeing her do loops, hoops and various aerial acrobatics, the five-year-old started singing that her "sister is a c-c-c-c-circus star". That evolved to "superstar" as she decided that it'd be cool to make the song about her sister being a rock star some day. It obviously gets fictional near the end (she hasn't played a "superdome" yet), but the oldest sister does indeed already have a pink guitar...
lyrics
Sister Superstar
My sister is a s-s-s-s-superstar,
Rocking ‘round her room with a pink guitar
My sister is a s-s-s-s-superstar…
My sister’s practicing guitar up in her room,
Practising each night for an hour or two
Getting better all the time, she’s getting good
She got a real guitar on her birthday,
She’s taking lessons, learning to play,
She’s rocking out in her room all day
My sister is a s-s-s-s-superstar,
Rocking ‘round her room with a pink guitar
My sister is a s-s-s-s-superstar,
Some day she’ll have a band with guitars and drums,
She’s grab a microphone under her thumb,
Getting ready to sing us something
My sister is a s-s-s-s-superstar,
Running ‘round the stage like a racing car
My sister is a s-s-s-s-superstar
She likes to laugh,
She likes to sing,
She likes to dance
She likes everything
And as she’s standing up on the stage,
My sister is a superstar today!
My s-sister is a s-s-s-s-superstar
Ma sœur est très célèbre, au revoir
My sister is a s-s-s-s-superstar
She’ll play a concert at the SuperDome,
The lights brighten as they’re ready to go
Tonight my sister’s putting on the show,
My sister is a s-s-s-s-superstar,
Playing songs for everybody near and far,
My sister is a s-s-s-s-superstar,
