Albion Capone

by Rob McLean

about

Albion Capone, released in 2002, was written and recorded at the Albion Hotel in Guelph, Ontario. Rob was one of the last tenants living on the third floor of the legendary hotel, living alongside the various ghosts that were still sticking around, before the building became solely a bar and restaurant. This is a ghostly, spare album, reflective of the time and location it was written in, and of the mindset of its songwriter at the time as well.
