Choo Choo Train Riding in the back of our minivan, When all the traffic is stopping ahead Up ahead, what do I see? Some red lights flashing, and a ding-ding-ding Bang Bang Bang, it’s a choo choo train! Coming down the tracks, coming this way Bang Bang Bang it’s a choo choo train, engineer is ready to go again Down at the station moving trains around Moving cargo all over town They move a freight train off to the side To let a passenger train go by Bang Bang Bang it’s a choo choo train, All aboard, we’re leaving today Bang Bang Bang it’s a choo choo train, Carrying people and its cars away Why take a bus or a plane or a car, (sing on D) When a choo choo train will go as far, Best way to travel anywhere Is a bang bang train to get you there Bang Bang Bang it’s a choo choo train, All aboard, we’re leaving today Bang Bang Bang it’s a choo choo train, Carrying people and its cars away Bang Bang Bang, it’s a choo choo train! Coming down the tracks, coming this way Bang Bang Bang it’s a choo choo train, The engineer is ready to go again

Garbage Truck Garbage truck, garbage truck Here comes the garbage truck Takin’ all our garbage to the dump, The coolest truck that I ever did see, Even though it’s prob’ly stinky, That doesn’t matter to me ‘cause it’s a truck! It’s a garbage truck! The garbage lady wears an orange vest, I think that orange is the best, I had an orange for breakfast, now it’s in the garbage, goin’ to the dump We separated bottles and cans, To be recycled into bottles and cans again, I wanna be with the women and men on the truck, The garbage truck! Garbage truck, garbage truck Here comes the garbage truck Takin’ all our garbage to the dump, The coolest truck I ever did see, It comes here every Monday Backin’ up going beep beep beep, I wanna jump! Onto the garbage truck! I know that I need to stay away, From the truck ‘cause it’s big and scary, Lots of things can hurt me on a garbage truck, But I will dream that some fine day, When I’m grown up someone’ll pay me To wear an orange vest, and collect the trash In a garbage truck, Garbage truck, garbage truck Here comes the garbage truck Takin’ all our garbage to the dump, The coolest truck I ever did see, Backin’ up going beep beep beep, Wanna throw a garbage heap on the truck! On the garbage truck!

Birdie in the Nest Birdie in the nest, birdie in the nest, flying all around Birdie in the nest, birdie in the nest, flying all around I think that I am gonna fly away Like a big airplane in the sky I think that I am gonna float away Like a leaf on a river on a sunny day, And I will fly from my nest, But not too far ‘Cause my nest is my home With my sister and my brother, I’ll fly just far enough away To find something to do for another day, Like a birdie in the nest, birdie in the nest, flying all around Birdie in the nest, birdie in the nest, flying all around Flying all around, Flying all around this beautiful town Flying all around Flying up and side to side, and upside down Sunny summer days are fine, Like a great big hug around you all of the time A light breeze underneath your wings Will lift you higher up to everything I’ll fly from my nest, But remember the way To get right back home at the end of the day I’ll fly just far enough To remember all the people at home I love Birdie in the nest, birdie in the nest, flying all around Birdie in the nest, birdie in the nest, flying all around Flying all around, flying all around this big ol’ town Flying all around, find something to see, safe and sound I think that I am gonna fly away Like a big airplane in the sky I think that I am gonna float away Like a leaf on a river on a sunny day, And I will fly from my nest, But not too far ‘Cause my nest is my home With my sister and my brother, I’ll fly just far enough away To find something to do for another day, Like a birdie in the nest, birdie in the nest, flying all around Birdie in the nest, birdie in the nest, flying all around Like a birdie in the nest, birdie in the nest, flying all around Birdie in the nest, birdie in the nest, flying all around Flying all around, Flying all around this beautiful town Flying all around Flying up and side to side, and upside down

(Potty) Training, Amazing I gotta go pee I gotta go, I gotta go woo woo woo woo I gotta take off my shoes when I go… ‘Cause I can’t wear my shoes in the bathroom You say potty training, I say amazing! ‘Cause we’re done with diapers soon… I gotta go I gotta go I gotta go I’ve been wearing diapers for a couple of years, And I think it’s time for a change My older sisters always use the bathroom, And messing up my diapers is getting strange When I’m feelin’ like I need to go, I need to stand up and say All these diapers are just kids’ stuff, It’s time to hit the potty, And go pee, I gotta go I gotta go woo woo woo woo I gotta take off my shoes when I go ‘Cause I can’t wear my shoes in the bathroom You say potty training, I say amazing! ‘Cause we’re done with diapers soon…. I gotta go, I gotta go I gotta go, I gotta go I got some pullups with a cowboy on it, My parents call ‘em underwear But I know that they’re really just diapers, I wasn’t both yesterday or even last year The one solution to this diaper crisis Is to just get rid of them all for good, The only underwear I’ll wear is the real stuff, Is this understood? You say potty training, I say amazing! ‘Cause we’re done with diapers soon I gotta go (I gotta go) I gotta go (I gotta go) I gotta go (I gotta go) I already know I’m a big kid now, The best way to show you how Is to make it so you’ll quit complaining When you’re changing every day, every way, Those diapers are yesterday You say potty training, I say amazing ‘Cause we’re done with diapers soon I gotta go, I gotta go I gotta go, I gotta go I gotta go, I gotta go I GOTTA GO!

Breakfast 03:26
Breakfast I used to believe that suppertime was the greatest thing, And I used to say that lunchtime was the best time of day But then I came to realize, the best time is opening eyes, ‘Cause there’s nothing quite as good as lying in bed, and thinking of food I want some breakfast, bacon or ham, Scrambled eggs, muffin & jam Breakfast, butter & bread, The only thing that gets me out of bed ‘Cause in the morning when the sun comes out, I open eyes, I wanna shout For breakfast – almost anything, ‘Cause I am growing and a growing boy needs these things Breakfast, breakfast I used to tell everyone That snacking time was the perfect fun It always felt so great Just counting down the minutes to the food I ate But then one day I learned That a happy meal is the one that’s earned After all those hours asleep When your tummy is a’grumbling it’s time to eat It’s breakfast, bacon or ham, Scrambled eggs, muffin & jam Breakfast, butter & bread, The only thing that gets me out of bed ‘Cause in the morning when the sun comes out, I open eyes, I wanna shout For breakfast – almost anything, ‘Cause I am growing and a growing boy needs these things Breakfast, breakfast Scrambled eggs, bacon or ham Bread and butter, muffin and jam The only thing that gets me out of bed The only thing that gets me out of bed Breakfast, bacon or ham, Scrambled eggs, muffin & jam Breakfast, butter & bread, The only thing that gets me out of bed ‘Cause in the morning when the sun comes out, I open eyes, I wanna shout For breakfast – almost anything, ‘Cause I am growing and a growing boy needs these things Breakfast, breakfast… Bacon and eggs.

Bedtime 02:46
Bedtime Why does everyone keep telling me it’s bedtime? Why does everyone keep saying I’m ready for bed? I wish that everyone stops saying I’ll be grumpy in the morning, ‘Cause I’m grumpy now, that’s what I said. Just because it’s dark outside Doesn’t mean I’m ready to go to bed, Just because you say I’m tired Doesn’t mean I am a sleepyhead There is so much to do, It may be bedtime for you, But I’m gonna stay up late, there’s nothing you can do I got a bunch of books that aren’t gonna read themselves, I got a bunch of stuffed animals that won’t stay on a shelf, I think I need a drink of water, And no, it won’t make me pee, I’m gonna play and play all night, hey - are you with me? Are you with me???? Just because you say it’s time It doesn’t mean I’m ready to go to bed Just because you want me quiet, Doesn’t mean there’ll be peace ahead I don’t want one more story, When we could be reading ten And once they are all done, What’ll we do then? Can we watch Letterman? I wish that everyone ‘d stop telling me it’s bedtime, I wish that everyone’d stop telling me I’m ready for bed I wish that everyone stops saying I’ll be grumpy in the morning, ‘Cause I’m grumpy now, I’m grumpy, that’s what I said Just because it’s dark outside Doesn’t mean I’m ready to go to bed, Just because you say I’m tired Doesn’t mean I am a sleepyhead There is so much to do, It may be bedtime for you, But I’m gonna stay up late, there’s nothing you can do There’s nothing you can do I’m gonna stay up late, there’s nothing you can do.

about

"The Sibling Rivals" is not a band, exactly. It's the "band name" given to the album "If It's Too Loud, You're Too Old." The "Sibling Rivals" are actually Jon D'Eaux's three kids, ages 7, 5 and 2. While they didn't perform anything on the album "If It's Too Loud, You're Too Old" (other than backup vocals), they did write the genesis of every song on the album - they wrote all lyrical hooks, chorus melodies, and even most of the verses. Jon filled in the rest. Jon D'Eaux isn't a real person either (well, duh...). The guy who did help with the album didn't want to use his kids to sell records. It's lousy marketing, but good fun, and that's the point.
